Ideal for retrofitting older towers where no step-bolts exist and the tower must be climbed up the face. Staggered holes on face of main support angles, plus backing plates with slotted holes enable you to adjust for different face widths and leg diameters. Kit includes angles, back plates, threaded rod and hardware. The Trylon safety cable system must be purchased separately for the desired tower height.

NOTE: the user is responsible for ensuring that the tower or other support structure meets the minimum anchorage requirements stated by OSHA/ANSI or CLC. Use this kit only with Trylon TSF 3/8" safety cable systems.

Stand-off brackets (or cable guides) are generally designed for clamping onto standard sized ladder rungs. Quite often, older tower have no ladders and therefore no rungs. Trylon universal mounts get around that problem. These mounts enable the intermediate stand-off bracket (or cable guide) to interface with towers/poles, by clamping onto the tower leg. It is important to place stand-off brackets at 25' intervals on towers so that wear of the cable against the tower/pole does not occur. They also prevent lashing and RF noise. These kits include clamps, nuts and bolts, but NOT the stand-off bracket.

Ideal for retrofitting Trylon fall arrest equipment onto ladderless (step-bolt) towers and monopoles. These mounts are designed for 60 degree angle. They include the clamp plates and hardware, but NOT the stand-off bracket.

Used when intermediate stand-off brackets must be fastened directly to angular ladder rungs greater than 1.25" in size. Useful on older towers that have no climbing ladders and worker must climb up the face of the tower.

This item is often utilized for two different purposes. First, is when a customer requires an extra clearance above the ladder so that a worker can detach from his slider more easily. The extension bar (part # 4.99.0202.604) allows climber to go 3 feet above the ladder top while still attached.

The second purpose is to offer a bit more flexibility in the distance between cable support anchor points. Our standard cable support allows a maximum distance between horizontal rungs of 15". The extension bar enables that distance to grow to 23.5" between horizontals.
