Product Manager – Stock Product Operations (Elmira, ON)

We are seeking a Product Manager – Stock Product Operations to join our team. This key role involves managing product lifecycle, sales coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business success.

Position Overview: As a Product Manager – Stock Product Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing product development, lifecycle management, and sales support for Trylon’s various stock product lines.  You will work closely with internal teams, including sales, project management, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience while optimizing product strategy and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for product lifecycle management, including new product development, existing product enhancements, and obsolescence planning.
  • Collaborate with sales and project management teams to support customer needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Assist in the budgeting and execution of sales plans, focusing on revenue growth and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to identify product opportunities.
  • Support quoting processes for custom products, ensuring appropriate pricing and margin targets are met.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and marketing to enhance product offerings.
  • Provide monthly reporting on product performance, financial metrics, and forecasts.
  • Support customer relationships by addressing escalations and gathering insights to improve product solutions.
  • Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and industry events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Post-Secondary Education (University or College) in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, sales support, or a related role.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with financial reporting, sales targets, and product costing.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet customers and attend industry events.
